Boat Intercepted With Drugs and Contraband

A boat belonging to the water taxi, Thunderbolt, and carrying a number of passengers, was intercepted this morning at the Corozal pier before its scheduled departure to San Pedro. Unofficially, we are told that the Gang Suppression Unit seized marijuana and an assortment of suspected contraband liquor. The GSU has since released the water taxi and it is reported that at least one passenger was detained. While the report has been confirmed, News Five has been reliably informed that the marijuana amounted to four point four pounds, and that the operation was carried out in collaboration with the Anti Drug Unit.

WELL ITS no hidden case that drugs and contraband are being smuggled to san pedro via corozal, but what happened to the Bze Coast Guard vessel that does transport contraband and collects a fee of $100.00 per box/bag of liqour etc and the vessel belongs to the ‘Bze Coast Guard, and the man on its wheels is from xaibe village czl,can anyone investigate this.this is something serious and need further investigation.well reliable sources from people paying the fee of $100.00 per box, claim thats the Bze Coast Guard vessel doing its ‘EXTRA CASH” from poor people trying to survive the hard unemployment from Czl,DON’T FORGET THAT COROZAL IS THE 2ND poorest district in Belize.

lets see if the GSU,can trace that man incharge of the Bze Coast Guard vessel and also the customs at the Northern Border collecting big “pachocha” for bringing other people’s contraband and being paid big money and yes the same customs confiscate ur goods and they re-sell it at stores and sometimes they have parties with the liqours and beers jejeje its real joke these corrupt assholes are doing and their’s no one to tell them anything, also GSU need to have a chek on CUSTOMS OFFICERS FROM san pedro that are the same rass as corrupt as GOB,they request a fee $$$$ to make ur contraband pass free and no custom will interfere on ur goods but they collect big monies- thats why they can have sweet hearts while the wives are at home minding the kids in other districts.PLS GSU do some more investigation and do ur jobs right!
