Penner Egged Outside Supreme Court
This morning, former Immigration Minister turned public pariah, Elvin Penner, had eggs, but it wasn’t sunny side up and it wasn’t for breakfast. The former U.D.P. Minister, who was fired for his role in immigration offences primarily for facilitating a passport to a jailed South Korean fugitive, was stoned with eggs by protesters gathered in his honour as he walked down the Supreme Court steps. It happened after he gave a brief statement to the media, his first since his fall from grace a year and a half ago, in September 2013. Penner was in Court for an appeal of his acquittal last year, and we’ll have the details of that…but first we start with his descent from the Court-room and brief encounter with the media and P.U.P. protesters gathered outside.

“The trial is in process, and I’m not going to say if I would even comment afterwards. All I will say is that it is still with the Magistrate, and I cannot comment. I am satisfied with how the case is going so far. What I would advise to the media is to try and go and chase something out there that is not a ghost. We have a person out there in Orange Walk that has been charged for an offence that is in my view far greater than anything that has been alleged about me. Why don’t you chase that matter instead of chasing this matter here? Make some prioritization. Make some prioritization…”
penner shoul be tried for TREASON. what he did will remain in the history books. maybe he has no love for Belize because he has canadian or whatever roots and that is why he thinks that what he did was nothing. But BELIZE is not playing Mr. Barrow. People power will reach you and all corrupt politicians. all corrupt politicians will plead but there will be no mercy. Media bias on display; it is obvious the media is anti-government and pro-opposition. They did not show the missile (egg) thrower, and in the news they with held the damaging interview in which, Said Musa declared: the PUP is not a violent party; the PUP is a peaceful party; to which I will say, liar, liar, liar. In the beginning the PUP stone Mr. Harrison Courtney’s home in the Fort George area; in the middle a good PUP soldier teach a bunch of NIP hecklers a lesson by, shooting into their group, wounding six persons in the crowd. Years after, Mr. Wilfredo (Shubbu) Brown died with bullet in his rump. The question is who gave the hand gun to the good PUP soldier and where did the gun came from? Of course as lawyer, Mr. Musa will tell us that are confidential, but there are people out there who know the answers to these questions. Finally, it is on national TV, where everyone saw the violent mob swarm like mad dogs after Mr. Penner. That is a peaceful party in a nut shell.
Master Penner has been acquitted, why is this continuing?
Hulse, Elrington and Ali have approved this a long time ago.
The case is closed and covered up. Let’s get back to selling passports, money must be made by the forty so Ali gets his commission.

I guess this is the only we can throw our frustration towards the scums of corruption. I bet even you might have wanted to throw one but since you couldn’t you’re trying to call those that have the balls to do it fools. And this should go for all politician not only red but blue also. Since they seem immune towards the atrocities they do to our country while in power.
This man clearly does not understand the gravity of his poor judgement or lack thereof. He should be locked up in prison for a very long time were it not for him having friends in higher places.
He was involved in some way shape or form in securing passports for people outside of the law, one especially who was locked up in prison in another country at the time.
The leaders of Belize need to realize that if they continue in their ways the people of Belize will get so frustrated that there will be unrest in the streets.
This current government was whisked into power by the people because they were disappointed by the previous government so the let-down of this government is even more disheartening.
You know people that are on Penner’s side should be ashamed of themselves. How in the world you can call yourself through belizeans when you don’t even care what those politicians are doing to our country shame on you. Bringing in criminals here to Belize to to harm our children. Perhaps those whose don’t have children or don’t even care about our children like Barrow and his crowd don’t know the fear we are living in our country. Come on belizeans think and make Belize the peaceful country it use to be once. All corrupted politicians should not be stoned with eggs. They should be executed execution style and see if there will be another politician to who will try any type of corruption in Belize again. Belize is our country and we must learn to love the beauty what God gave us. Don’t be fools belizeans. Think but think very well!
