“One good thing out of this is that it shows that there is democracy because, you know, you can have an executive in an office come and want to lead and get down and dirty and grind out in the field.  You know, it also shows that a person can be a P.U.P. one day and then become a U.D.P. the next day.  That’s democracy.  We live in a beautiful country and I think that, you know, for sure a strategy that you have has to take in effect your opponent and since she’s a new opponent we definitely will have to go back and look at what we are doing and how we’re going to do it.  So for sure we’re going to change how we do things.”

“In terms of a prediction, it’s a bit premature to really forecast what the outcome of a general election would be, specifically with regards to the Albert Division.  Do you believe that the fact that someone who has been known to be an office person, for instance, or an executive, who is now offering herself on the frontline of campaigning and being on the ground, do you believe that this either improves your chances seeing as though you’re not going up against someone, let’s say like a Phillip Willoughby or a Herman Longsworth for instance?”

“Being a sportsman myself I don’t like to make predictions, however, I am confident and yes, as I said earlier, it’s a bit surprising someone who use to be in the office and who use to sign checks now wants to go in the field.  You know, I am nevertheless confident and it certainly, I don’t want to say it gives me an advantage or a disadvantage but my strategy will definitely take that into account.”
