Former B.D.F. Major Lloyd Jones Joins Belize Rural North Political Race

Lloyd Jones

There is some news coming out the People’s United Party tonight which may give the opposition party wind in its sails after the devastating March fourth defeat at the Municipal Election. Retired B.D.F. Major Lloyd Jones is throwing his hat in the ring and will be running in the Belize Rural North constituency. With the removal of Arthur Saldivar as standard bearer that division became vacant. Jones is already working the area and it is expected that he will be uncontested whenever a convention is called. Jones is a fearless and outspoken personality who has taken on a number of national issues in particular as it relates to territorial dispute by Guatemala.

  1. Concerned Belizean says:

Win the election Mr. Jones, but keep your integrity. That will be with you long after any election or term in office. That will follow you to the next life when you stand before God on the day of judgment. Don’t give it up for short term gain.

    You can’t beat Arthur
