Musa Says He Is Considering Retirement
There was another issue which Musa addressed when he exited the CJ’s Chambers. Rumours about very drastic changes within the executive structure of the People’s United Party have been making the rounds since municipal elections two months ago. And one of the names repeatedly mentioned in those reports is that of former Prime Minister and Fort George Area Representative Said Musa. Will the very successful P.U.P. powerhouse go or stay? Well, today, we got the opportunity to ask him.
Said Musa, P.U.P. Area Representative, Fort George
“Of course I’ve considered it, but I will not be guided by what my opposition wants me to do, so the more Mr. Barrow calls on me or comments about my age…I need to remind him that I am not the one who needs to walk with a walking stick.”
Reporter
“Sir…haven’t voters come to you to suggest that?”
Said Musa
“No, not at all! In fact ever since this matter was commented on in the press, many of my supporters in Fort George are begging me to stay on.”
Reporter
“So you don’t believe it’s your time to retire from political life?”
Said Musa
“I don’t believe it is my time to retire? When I have such a belief I will retire, okay.”

REtirement my a**…he will get out of the picture but work behind the scenes…he knows that the PUP does not have a chance if the words Musa and Fonseca are in the picture.
