Vernon Cutkelvin Won’t Testify In Castro Case
One man whose name was mentioned repeatedly today is Vernon Cutkelvin. According to testimony from the stand, he is a friend and advisor of Minister Edmond Castro and was allegedly present when Castro met with Burgess in his office. He was listed as a witness for the claimant, but that will not happen. One reason is that he could not be present is because attorney Rodwell Williams says he suffered a stroke recently and is incapacitated. But another reason is likely that Cutkelvin’s credibility was battered during cross-examination today. In addition to him making the news in various instances for things like allegedly conning people out of money for land, being sought by Police for large, unpaid debts and being a player in what was suspected to be a container full of pseudo-ephedrine, there was also mention that UDP senior minister Michael Finnegan has stated publicly that, quote – “Cutkelvin is a UDP soldier who has gone astray and needs psychological care,” end quote.

This is truly a country in deep distress. Cutkelvin an adviser to Castro, this is such a laughable situation if it were not so sad. Who can say that the contraband shipment was not also done in partnership with Castro. Castro needed a front man who better to use.
All these people need to be indited.
