The U.D.P. standard bearer is clearly unhappy with his party leader and the methods being employed to secure victory in the elections. Hulse says the PM desperately wants to make history to become the first three-time leader of government.

Nothing else is, not loyalty to friends or country or anything. He wants to be in the history book for being the only person who win three-time back to back to back. He says it in every speech and every opportunity he gets; he said it again Sunday and he is beginning to sound more and more arrogant.”
