Domestic Violence and Personal Conflicts on the Rise

The shift in violent crimes, particularly murder, has changed to domestic instances and personal conflict. So what is the police department’s strategy to address this issue?

“Well first of all, one of the things we’ve already done is to initiate contact with the Chief Magistrate and the Chief Justice in respect to these domestic cases where persons go in, make complaints to the police, go to court and then have the matter withdrawn. We’ve seen in most of the cases that have ended up in murder or manslaughter, there have been such complaints made several times by the victim and then when they get to the court, they drop the cases. We are trying to talk with the Chief Magistrate and the Chief Justice to see how we can not immediately have those cases withdrawn and perhaps have the court instruct those involved to go through some sort of counseling or something like that. Because that is one of the problems that bedevils the police domestic violence unit whenever they try to intervene, it normally ends up that the victim withdraws the case.”
Since the start of 2015, our records indicate that there have been as many as seventy-eight homicides across the country.
Domestic violence has been on d rise for tooo long and autorities seems to be sleeping or making themselfes fools…d police dept need to investigate corrupt police officers who take bribes and do not do their jobs properly,especially when dealling with maintainance collection for kids left by their father and them refuse to do someting and at the end of the day the corrupt magistrate says that their ass whole father still has their right to fucking see their kids although they dont’ pay maintainance what is wrong with these stupid bze laws,cowar men like theze need to go to jail and the corrupt pilice officers because they get bribes for not arrest these ass wholes….then these cases become domestic vilence because police dept refuse to do their jobs properly and sometimes women separate from these men who are abusiva and then the ladies have to request court action/separation and request for maintainance for their children and these cowards prefer to pay the police officers and not give for ther children its a fact!
