Band of Thieves Arrested for Robbing First Caribbean Bank
As the CIBC First Caribbean Bank changes hands, five men have been charged in connection with the daring bank robbery this past Friday at the First Caribbean International Bank at the San Cas Plaza. All five men, including four who are well known to the law, were charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery when they appeared in court today. Thirty-three year old Jermaine Belgrave, thirty year old Jareth Crawford, twenty-four year old Emerson Skyers, twenty-two year old Patrick Jones and Erwin Castillo all appeared before Magistrate Deborah Rogers. Belgrave, Skyers, Jones and Crawford were all remanded immediately to prison because the robbery is alleged to have occurred with a firearm.
However, Castillo’s attorney, Bryan Neal made a submission to the court asking for bail on his of his client, but Magistrate Roger’s upheld prosecutor Kennard Clark’s objection to bail. In court, Neal represented Belgrave, Skyers, Jones and Castillo, while Crawford was represented by Leeroy Banner. On Friday, the robbers made off with almost fifty three thousand dollars between eight and nine that morning. It is alleged that video footage from surveillance camera captured the incident which led to the arrests since the men were unmasked.

Why is he still alive ,meaning Belgrave? Does he give new meaning to the term ” Teflon Don” or is the police that inept? He’s been problems since a teenager; robberies, attempted murders (plural) and as recently as May of this year. He even shot at a police officer and got three months. The police want to brutalize innocent people but this is one they should have gunned down a long time ago. Jones has a rap sheet also. I abhor lawyers who take cases for guys like this. How can you sleep? Be careful.
