Francis Fonseca Vs. Carla Barnett for Freetown

Party Leader Francis Fonseca has not lost an election in the Freetown constituency where he will be facing political opponent Doctor Carla Barnett on November fourth. Since offering herself as a U.D.P. candidate, Doctor Barnett has been busy canvassing the area through door to door visits.  But, that doesn’t faze Fonseca who remains confident that Freetown will be delivered handsomely to the People’s United Party.

“In terms of your own seat to make sure that is secure, you have been going around the country…have you been neglecting your own turf?”

“No we always have a tough fight in Freetown and that’s always the case but we have no doubt about the fact that we will deliver Freetown again, for the fourth time for the people’s United Party. Yes I know there is always some excitement about Freetown. But we have absolutely no doubt about the fact that we will deliver that seat undoubtedly for the People’s United Party.”

“Sir are you confident that countrywide in terms of transfers and so the P.U.P. has put in its work?”

Francis Fonseca

“We have put in our work, we have done it quietly but we have put in our work. We have made it very; very clear to our people across the country that we understood that this transfer period would be the last transfer period. We understood that this would be a very critical period because the U.D.P. would try to use that transfer period to try to gain particular advantages in particular constituencies. So yes we are on full alert and our constituencies have been doing their work.”

“Sir, but in Freetown five hundred and ninety-five new registrants, how many of those are you responsible for, that’s the largest in any division in the country; percentage wise, how much of that five hundred and ninety-five is yours?”

“Enough to ensure a victory, we were full yon top of the registration process and keep in mind we have been doing it since 2012, we have been doing this every year since 2012, so we are on top of it and we have enough to guarantee a victory in Freetown.”

In the last general elections of 2012 Fonseca defeated U.D.P. candidate Lee Mark Chang in Freetown.
