P.M. Barrow Sure of Victory at Polls

According to the P.M., while he doesn’t want to sound too confident or cocky, anything other than a victory at the polls would come as quite a surprise.

“I don’t want to sound at all dismissive of the opposition, I don’t want to sound cocky, I don’t want to sound over confident, Of course in any campaign stones will be flung, allegations will be made, there will be an effort to make some issue develop legs . But I am completely satisfied that the bigger picture which is the tremendous record of achievement that is there to see when it comes to the U.D.P., that that is going to prevail and so I have no doubt that the U.D.P. is going to do extremely well and I repeat I am confident that the people of this country are absolutely ready to reelect the United Democratic Party.”
