Elections & Boundaries Commission Confirms Election Day 2015

Coming on the heels of the announcement for early elections on November fourth, the Election and Boundaries Commission has confirmed October sixteen as Nomination Day for candidates of all political parties. In a release today the Commission also states that only persons who registered on or prior to tenth September 2015 and whose names appear on the register are eligible to vote. Persons who applied to be registered after the tenth September, 2015 are not eligible to vote says the Commission.  If you wish to check on your status, the Commission informs that the register of voters for each of the Electoral Divisions are posted at the Elections and Boundaries offices countrywide.
