Armed Robbery in San Ignacio, Madisco Employees Jacked at Gunpoint

Late this evening, News Five was able to confirm reports that there was an armed robbery in San Ignacio. It happened at around four, and the victims were two Madisco employees who had just finished making deliveries in a white Kia truck. The truck was parked behind the Scotiabank when it was approached by two armed men wearing political shirts, but with their heads covered. The two robbers jumped in the truck with the two employees and drove the vehicle to a feeder road behind the San Ignacio Library which is a relatively isolated area. The armed men then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, leaving the Madisco employees in the truck. Unconfirmed reports are that Police have two persons in custody at this time. We’ll have more details in Tuesday’s newscast.

Sounds like a setup, very unlikely for robbers to take money in daylight, populated area and leave victims unharmed. Hmm, hmmm.
