Murdered Contrabandista home well secured

According to a newspaper in Chetumal, Ernesto Alfonso de Miguel who is also known as “En Español” lived for various years at the Corozal Free zone in a bunker. The house was well secured and had a number of amenities which were used as part of Alonzo de Miguel’s lifestyle. He was executed on Saturday while he dined with top brass police in Chetumal. Alonzo de Miguel is described as a well known contrabandista primarily of cigarettes who was under investigation. It is reported that “En Español” smuggled up to forty containers of cigarettes per month into Mexico and had protection to so do. The container of cigarettes came from Panama, to Jamaica and then into Belize heading up north to the zone.
