Did Gapi Keep His Lavish Office at Cohune Walk Building?

Godwin Hulse

Has former Minister of Natural Resources Gaspar Vega surrendered his precious office space to his successor at G.O.B.’s Cohune Walk Building?  News Five has been reliably informed that the erstwhile head of the Lands Department is indeed holding on to his workplace.  Since being removed from that ministry, a portfolio Vega has held since 2008, he has been replaced by Senator Godwin Hulse.  The contention a few weeks ago was Vega’s relocation since he no longer holds that ministerial responsibility.  While he simply brushed it off as a temporary confusion, we understand that his occupation of the coveted office space is permanent.  For context, here’s a repeat of what Senator Hulse had to say about the commotion.

“I’ve met all the staff so far and met with the outgoing Minister, the C.E.O., etc. We are reorganizing the building a little bit because as you know the Ministry of Agriculture is still housed there so we have to find seating and that sort of thing so that it’s convenient. We’re in the process. Hopefully in the next week that would have been finalized.”

“We’re told that Minister Gaspar Vega refuses to give up his office, saying that he’s not going anywhere.”

“It’s not that he refused to give it up. That is incorrect and inaccurate. He is the Minister of Agriculture and Agriculture and Natural Resources was housed I that building. So there’s no need for him to move and there’s no need for his C.E.O. to not occupy, because he continues to be the Minister of Agriculture. There was office space there for a Deputy Minister, Minister Patt at the time who held the portfolio of agriculture. All we are doing is trying to organize the building for easy flow with the C.E.O.s, the Deputy Ministers, myself as a Senior Minister together with Minister Vega.”

“It’s a bit confusing…offices and even staff, because we had one Ministry with Agriculture and Lands and we were represented by one set of human resources, and now it has to be split up. It’s a bit confusing and we still have not settled those things.”

We understand that office space has been delegated to Hulse in another wing of the Cohune Walk Building.

Why is this news? Kindly investigate the illegal transactions that Andre Vega and David Hilmar Allamilla committed, in tandem at the Lands Dept. All sanctioned by Baroni and Gaspar Vega. Now that is news….why did PM take away the Ministry!!!!?????
