Women Caught Stealing Underwear are Granted Bail
Two women who were captured on surveillance camera footage stealing more than two hundred pieces of underwear are out on bail. Donela Smith and Johny Netty Lopez were seen stealing the underwear from Siloe store in Belize City on November seventeenth. They were quickly apprehended at a bus terminal and charged with theft on November twentieth. Today they were granted Supreme Court bail but stringent conditions were imposed on the duo and they will have to report to the Orange Walk Police Station weekly as well as stay away from any of the prosecution witnesses. One of the women first pleaded guilty and wanted to provide the court with an explanation but after a few seconds of contemplating, Smith changed her guilty plea to not guilty. The duo is due back in court on January twenty- seventeenth.
