…But Where is the Pilot, Mr. Clapman?

Police had reported, based on the findings of a very preliminary investigation right after the aircraft landed, a flight plan had been filed. That plan had the Piper Seneca routed from Aruba to the Phillip Goldson International on Sunday, October twenty-fifth. Instead, it landed at the Municipal Airstrip two days after, on Tuesday. An intensive search by the Anti-Drug Unit of the Police has indicated that any cargo, if any, did not include narcotics. But that’s as much as Police know about the actual landing, since whomever and whatever actually made that trip from wherever it did, has vanished into thin air.

“It’s an ongoing investigation, but that’s the limit of what I know about the claim made by James Stalling, and where the Police are with their investigation. The Police are working with Civil Aviation and Customs, and they are looking to see if there will be any charges from those areas that will be laid. I don’t think they have in fact found anything that would appear at this time to be illegal in the aircraft, and so they will be working with those two agencies to see where they take it from there.”
