Faber Says P.U.P.’s Woes Are Hilarious

The leadership convention for the People’s United Party is this Sunday in Belmopan. And while campaigns are often negative, many onlookers conclude that the tone and tenor of this particular race has been outright nasty. We asked Minister Faber to comment.

“It is very hilarious in many ways. The fact that Mister Fonseca came back; the fact that there is so much negativity going on in a time when they are trying to revive and give themselves a new branding, it sends the signal that not much has changed. And that is why I am able to speak with such confidence about a fourth term; although granted it is very far off. Four years is quite a distance, anything can happen, they are not starting off in the right direction in my view.”
