PM Barrow Says New Title is Okay, But He Didn’t Ask for It
And finally for political news tonight, we asked Prime Minister Dean Barrow about his new title of Right Honorable conferred on him recently. Generally it’s offered to government leaders in their second term of office, as it was to former Prime Ministers Said Musa and Manuel Esquivel, but Barrow now earns that distinction in his third term. We asked him about that, and he told us that the title was actually sought on his behalf.
Prime Minister Dean Barrow
“I actually will acknowledge it and will be churlish not to say thanks. But it came in my third and not in my second term because I made no effort not to acquire it. Basically once you win two, it is a kind of entitlement, but there is something that needs to be done and I did not do it because for me it really is no big deal. I didn’t do it this time either. Unbeknownst to me, a member of the Belize High Commission in the UK went to the British; unbeknownst to me…otherwise things would have remained in the third term as they were in the second term. I’m not upset with the person, I am not going to criticize the initiative that the person took and rather will say that I am grateful…and I will leave it at that.”

Right Honorable ?
Damn, now the UK is hypocritical.
God save the Queen & Freddie Mercury!!!
Now I have the power and title to kick Obama’s hypocritical butt when I storm the whitehouse.
No Joke!
