National Evangelical Association Also Wants Senator Rocke Out
The unprecedented release from Bishop Wright was followed by one from the Executive Team of the National Evangelical Association of Belize, known as the NEAB. The grouping says its national chapters comprising two hundred and fifty churches are disappointed with Senator Rocke’s “No” vote and find it completely unacceptable. NEAB is also calling for the resignation or removal of Rocke since they say they have lost all confidence in his ability to effectively represent the Church. President Pastor Lance Lewis explains.
On the Phone: Pastor Lance Lewis, President, NEAB
“We had given our point where we said that we wanted to be in agreement for the motion of investigation by the Auditor General on the recent findings on the report of passports and other things; we wanted to see a definite impartial investigation taking place. And so we were of the opinion that that would have taken place. And so we were of the opinion that that would have been the case. Interestingly last night when I saw the news late because I had other things to do; it shows that yes, he supported the motion of the lady who spoke before—I don’t remember her name—but he said he supported the motion. But then to hear at the end that he voted against was a big shock to all of us.”

“Sir was there consultation with Mister Rocke in terms of what the position of the churches would have been?
On the Phone: Pastor Lance Lewis
“I communicated with him. You see represented the churches, so it is not just us alone. I do not know what the others had said; but I would have expected in such a serious matter for them to have agreed too.”
Duane Moody
“You guys are calling for his removal. I believe the Roman Catholic Church is making the same call as well.”
On the Phone: Pastor Lance Lewis
“We don’t see any other way for things to move forward in this type of scenario when it is clear that an investigation should be done. There should be no question about voting against that motion. So we feel in a real sense betrayed.”
Duane Moody
“Does NEAB feels that Mister Rocke has been compromised?”
On the Phone: Pastor Lance Lewis
“He compromised himself by saying one thing and then voting another direction.”
Judas that! Not quite Easter but Judas is Judas still!
Welcome to political double-speak and rampant corruption. The GOB has been heavily influenced and “financed” by the United Stated – a corrupt and Godless government, led by a man who has been to Sunday services eight times in eight years. Obviously, Senator Rocke has been bribed and lost his morality. Welcome to the new United States of Belize. Did anyone expect anything else from Barrow and his corrupt Government?
