Acting prosecutor in Mason case insists police doing fine without international help on Mason case
During his post-court appearance interview, ACP Chester Williams also addressed the matter of further and direct international assistance with the William Mason case. According to Williams, police have recovered from their early stumbles and are now doing all they can to tighten the noose around the notorious Mason and company – and they will do it by themselves.
ACP Chester Williams, Prosecutor
“I believe that the Prime Minister have answered that question quite well. I have all trust and confidence in our ability to investigate. And yes as you all have said there is corporal who is currently the case officer but he does not work alone. I as an attorney, I assist him, I advise him, I guide him and that is a learning process and I will tell you that we are doing our utmost best to ensure that we are gathering all we could when it comes to this matter. And when the matter comes up for trial it will be a matter for the court to decide the guilt or innocence of these persons, But we will put our best foot forward to ensure that we put the best possible case before the court.”

Maybe “doing all they can” and their “utmost best” might not be enough. Police, please don’t mess up on this one and make sure no evidence, files etc mysteriously “disappear”.
I or we hope so that the Acting prosecuter in this ase is doing fine as being said and we don’t end up with evidence lost or evidence tampered like the pakeman case.
