Edward “Mac 10” McKoy Speaks Out in an Exclusive Interview Post Gringo

John McAfee

The dust has not settled in respect of the Showtime Documentary, Gringo: the Dangerous Life of John McAfee. At least four Belizeans were prominent in the documentary casting a net of suspicion on who killed McAfee’s neighbor, Gregory Faull in 2012. Edward McKoy is one of the main characters.  In the chilling feature, McKoy, who goes by the alias “Mac Ten,” was fingered as the man, hired by the antivirus mogul, to kill Faull. The documentary provided a vivid account of the entire ordeal on how Faull was lured to his death by one of McAfee’s many girlfriends who left his house’s door open to give McKoy access to commit the heinous crime. But tonight, McKoy, in an exclusive interview with News Five, says he was paid three thousand dollars by producer Nanette Burstein to clear his name. But now he has been implicated as the suspect in the murder for hire.

Edward “Mac 10” McKoy, Former Security Consultant for John McAfee

“I didn’t see it as I was paid, but it is saying that I received some five thousand dollars in my account and that’s false because the police can get a record of my account and at that time they would see that no five thousand dollars was ever sent to my account. And at the night of that when it happened, I was at home at my sister’s wedding because it was my sister that was marrying that same night. So I didn’t had no reason to be in San Pedro or was nowhere else but at the wedding that night so it was surprising to me when that came out, with my name implying that I got five thousand dollars when I didn’t and I wasn’t there. So that’s ridiculous; that’s something I didn’t like.”

Duane Moody

“Now sir, in the documentary, the producer seemed to have been questioning you along the lines of whether you did commit this murder and persisted to an extent. Now, we’ve seen proof that you’ve received one thousand five hundred U.S. cash in a transfer through western union from Miss Nanette to you. Were you also paid to give that interview as well?”

Edward “Mac 10” McKoy

“Well she was contacting me for a while and I didn’t wanted to speak to her. Then she told me that someone said that I received money and this and that for a murder. And I said that’s ridiculous; she said well do an interview with me just to clear my name. She said she would pay me for my time. So I said okay, I don’t mind come and clear my name cause I wasn’t involved in it. I didn’t really trust him; up to today I don’t really trust him so why would I go and do something like that for someone I don’t trust? So it is ridiculous.”

“So just to categorically say sir—I know she asked you this—but you did not murder Gregory Faull? You did not murder anybody or you weren’t hired to carry out any hit on anybody?”

Edward “Mac 10” McKoy

“I was never hired by anyone or by John or anyone to do any murder.”

It’s a shame how the caretakers says publicly that the police never ask him a singel question and for Mac 10 if so true at the wedding any pics of him being at the wedding? nobody goes to a family wedding without taking pics that would have been a better proof. But be the doc director never ask for a pic for proof nor even the police. wow, really how things happen in the Jewel and the law is more sleeping than we the citizens, how not arrest the people who carried John out of the country on a boat as he stated they did? mein it just leaves you wondering what the hell is the police of the investigation unit doing about this case, now with such confessions the family I hope sues our police department for lack of professionalism and not doing a good work.

Mr. Faull, he’s just another dead gringo. Just add it to the long list of unsolved or botched gringo murder cases. And lets make celebrities out of gang banger “Mac 10”, shyster “Cash”, and all those little hooker girlfriends. Great roll models for the youth.
