Another Body Found, This Time on Northern Highway
Early this morning, Ladyville police detectives were called out to an area near mile eight on the Phillip Goldson Highway where a body had been spotted floating in the Belize River. The officers arrived to find the body of a man face-down in the water; construction workers in the area say they came out to work today and made the discovery. Within minutes of their arrival, the officers got into a small boat and retrieved the already decomposed corpse from the river and placed it in a body bag. The body was then put in the back of a police pickup truck and whisked off to the medical facility on the Burrell Boom Road where an autopsy was conducted around eleven o’clock. Pathologists determined that the cause of death was as a result of drowning. But tonight, the Ladyville police need your help once again in identifying the deceased. He is of dark complexion; medium built and has curly hair. The deceased is believed to in his thirties.
