Welcoming Israel, Italy, Slovakia and Norway’s Ambassadors to Belize

Letters of Credence were presented to Governor General Sir Colville Young on Monday by four incoming ambassadors.  In a brief ceremony held at Belize House in Belmopan, Ambassador Jonathan Peled of Israel, Ambassador Merethe Nergaard of Norway, Ambassador Alena Gazurova of Slovak Republic and Italian Ambassador Luigi Maccotta expressed their pleasure in representing their respective countries.

The ambassadors also expressed their countries’ interests in continuing to strengthen bilateral relations and encourage new areas of development with Belize.
