Outstanding Cadet Recognized by Police
Precinct Three Police today recognized an outstanding cadet from their corps of thirty. After performing exceptionally well, an eleven year old was selected as the best cadet for the month of January. Today we spoke with Assistant Superintendent Anaceli Petillo, the Deputy Commander of Precinct Three, who told us that the work the cadets do in that area is valuable – serving as little police officers.

“This was a service where we honoured Miss Ernisha Dominguez, eleven years old. What happened is that Precinct three won the best cadet of the month of January. What happened is that she is doing very well in school; and she comes to the regular meetings that we have. She does everything that is expected of her as a cadet officer and she is also a role model. She is presently in Standard 6 at the Queen Street Baptist School. We enlist these cadets; they are like the little police – as you would call them. They do community service, they do annual camp; they take part in a lot of sports here in the city.”
Very good, get kids involved in community work, this will lead them to become productive citizens later on.
