O.A.S. Secretary General Visits Guatemala on Way to Belize

We reported on Tuesday night, that the O.A.S. Secretary General Luis Miguel Almagro arrives in Belize on Thursday though the nature of his visit has not been confirmed.  A number of high-level meetings are on the agenda for the overnight visit, including one with the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister. Almagro is heading here from Guatemala where he has had a packed agenda. Ina tweet today, the Foreign Minister of Guatemala, Carlos Raul Moralez said he and Almagro had met with Guatemalan nationals living within the Adjacency Zone. Photos of the meeting were circulated. Almagro also posted pictures of the encounter with at San Jose Las Flores, Melchor de Mencos.
