Dickie Bradley Says His Client is Not Guilty of Murder

According to Bradley, Alamilla, on advice has not spoken to police, but Bradley seemed fairly confident that he could show reasonable doubt that he had nothing to do with the fatal shot fired at Sosa.

“He was in a complete state of shock; he hurriedly drove home, told his wife what occurred and requested her to call police which she did. I understand that most of Saturday he was not in a position to really give a coherent explanation, because he was in a state of shock that someone who he knows very closely has lost his life in his vehicle.”

“I think you are jumping to the trial already; but no, the situation is that certainly, what we can tell is that he is not guilty of any murder. If it is his firearm and the firearm went off through some careless conduct – because the vehicle was in motion and you can see that it appears to be one of those standard vehicles where the stick-shift is somewhere in the middle of the thing so you can’t be driving, changing gears and driving the vehicle and then intentionally want to shoot someone. But I know that when I spoke with him he was still in a state of disbelief and shock that somebody – his friend – died in his vehicle.”
