2 Shot in Same Area Hours Later

Even as police continue to investigate the murder of Velasquez, this afternoon shots rang out in that same area of Antelope Street Extension. Information to News Five is that around two-thirty p.m. Ryne Arnold and Marion Ramirez were traveling in this Ford Explorer SUV seen here in the vicinity of Pitters and Antelope Streets on south side Belize City when at least one gunman fired shots at them. They were hit to various parts of the body, but made their way to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. Scenes of Crime personnel of Eastern Division North processed the vehicle inside the parking lot to the K.H.M.H.  While no visible bullet holes were scene on the outside, there were blood stains on the running board to the front passenger side door. News Five understands that Arnold and Ramirez are in a stable condition.
