Rogue cop caught on tape beating homeless man

Police brutality is a real existence that Belizeans are faced with seemingly on a daily basis.  We have reported on numerous occasions the physical abuse of civilians at the hands and feet of law enforcement officers.  Tonight, there is a short clip of a policeman beating up a homeless man that has since gone viral.  Specific details of where the incident occurred, as well as the name and rank of the officer involved, are yet to be determined.  It is a matter that is expected to be investigated by the Professional Standards Branch headed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Chester Williams.  That office within the Belize Police Department is tasked with investigating the rogue and often violent behavior of the men and women who are sworn to protect and serve.  The incident which has been caught on tape is another black eye on the department.
