Grandmother and Granddaughter Shot on New Road
Just before news time on Tuesday night shots rang out on New Road. As sixty-year-old Judith Rocke and her grandchildren sat inside their house to watch the television evening news, reports are that a gunman standing at a nearby alley fired up to six shots at the house. Rocke was hit to the right arm, but a bullet penetrated her seven-year-old granddaughter, Malli Herrera, to the lower back. The bullet exited the minor’s abdomen and ruptured several internal organs. Herrera remains in a critical condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. In an off camera interview Rocke, who has been released from the hospital, explains what happened.
Voice of: Judith Rocke, Shooting Victim
“I was sitting in my chair waiting for the seven o’clock news when I hear gunshots fired; about four [shots]. After that, I realized that I was hit in the right arm and my granddaughter was hit in the buttock’s area; that’s all I can say.”

Sad state of the country and no politicians talking about dealing with crime since they live in their secured community. Neighbors you need to demand more from the police and these people who go ask for your votes. As a community you can also do anonymous calls to get gangs out your area.
