Ministry of Health Screwed Up Blood Bank?

John Briceño

The Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital has had to suspend elective surgeries because ten days ago, it reported that there has been a shortage of available blood due to a limited blood supply and restrictions imposed by the Blood Bank of the Ministry of Health. Tonight, we can tell you that the Ministry is being accused by Opposition Leader John Briceño of forgetting to order the kits used for testing donated blood, which ensures that no severe infections are inadvertently passed on. Briceño lays the blame squarely at the feet of Health Minister Pablo Marin.

John Briceño, P.U.P. Leader

“There’s a shortage of blood simply because the people in the Ministry of Health forgot to order the blood kits to test the blood. So we could have a hundred people lined up to donate blood to our hospitals, but we can’t take it because we can’t test it. We need to hold no other than the Minister of Health, Pablo Marin, responsible, because he is the one that put one of his cronies there at the Blood Bank to manage this department. This brings me to the point that I started out with: that the U.D.P. Government is best described as dishonest, incompetent, and corrupt.”
