Family Claims Heavy Police Harassment

Alex & Austin Underwood

Following Underwood’s release from custody this evening, News Five spoke with one of his relatives.  She says that there is indeed surveillance footage which purportedly captured a team of officers entering Underwood’s property on Caesar Ridge Road in the early hours of Wednesday morning.  She also says that the brothers are the victims of constant harassment by members of law enforcement.

“Well they have been released on bail so far. Alex Underwood was given bail of eight thousand and Austin Underwood got bail for five thousand today.”

“How familiar are you with the property on Caesar Ridge Road that was raided by police prior to the arrest?”

Voice of: Alex Underwood’s Girlfriend

“Well I am familiar with the place and I am familiar with the Underwood brothers as well too.”

“And my understanding is that this episode may have been captured on surveillance camera insofar as the officers coming by the house earlier in the morning.”

“Yes, well the officers they came around one-thirty the Monday morning and they came back around eleven and yes there is a video footage out there, but I can’t say what is on it.”

“Do you know if this is part of let’s say a constant harassment of these brothers or this was something random that the officers may have just stopped by the house that particular morning?”

“Okay, well sir I am being honest. This is a constant harassment. This is not the first time; well this is the first time that they have planted a bullet on them since I’m around. And it is a constant harassment; they are always harassing the Underwood brothers them.”

“Is there anything else that you can tell us in respect of this incident involving Alex and Austin?”

“Well I just want say that they police di be bad mind. And karma; they wah see the true light of everything eventually.”
