Training Continues for Table Tennis Trio
The table tennis team of Devesh Hukmani, Terry Su and Rohit Pagarani were also participating in the Commonwealths for the first time and faced some of the very best in their field. The results went as expected but the boys say they want another shot.

“This was my first international event and first Commonwealth Games and we did okay, but we need to train harder to be at their level.”

“In terms of the competition, would you say these guys were at a higher level than you or same level?”

“Yes, they were at a higher level; some of these were at the top ten in the world.”
Rounding out the team in triathlon, is Brandon Santos and coach Kent ‘Bob’ Gabourel, both from San Pedro Town; and in athletics, Samantha Dirks, Katy Sealy, Shaun Gill, Brandon Jones, coach Denis Costello and delegate Jaheed Smith.
