David “Dido” Vega, P.U.P. Standard Bearer, Corozal Bay
“This journey started years ago; some of you have been here from the beginning – some of you have joined us. I want to remind the people of Corozal Bay that there is one enemy here, and the enemy is the U.D.P. and the policies that they have brought to our Bay. Our people are suffering; our people need jobs; our people need better healthcare; our people need affordable and accessible education. So there’s no time to waste; there’s no time to sit back; tomorrow we reach out to the other candidates, we unite, and we wah Pablo [Marin] next! (Applause and cheers) I want to pledge to our party that we are going to work hand in hand with the mayor and the current town council; we are going to work hand in hand with the other standard bearers in the Corozal District, and we are going to work hard so that we make our current party leader, the honorable John Briceño, the next Prime Minister of Belize.”
Oh boy The winning of Dido means the UDP will win the Corozal Bay in the next election again. Is there no one better who wants the job. All the persons running for the PUP were all losers. There must be someone better who wants the job.
