Another NO to Arthur Saldivar Political Aspiration

There is another ‘NO’ to Arthur Saldivar; he aspired to run for the People’s United Party in the Belmopan constituency, but his application has been turned down one more time. In the first instance, a suspension was lifted, but the Vetting Committee decided he had to sit out the convention.  But Saldivar maintains a legal claim against the same party he wishes to represent. He is pursuing a claim of two hundred and ninety thousand dollars against the P.U.P., an amount he says, he spent on his campaign.  This week, his committee went on the attack of a senior party member.  So did he cross the line? Well the Vetting Committee wrote to him on Thursday to say that after an interview with him, his application is being rejected again.  We are informed that there were many factors for the decision including but not limited to his public statements and actions as well as the claim he has before the courts. Surely, in true Saldivar fashion, he will have plenty to say.
