Abram Friesen Charged for Tampering with a Firearm

Police report today that on Wednesday, a search was conducted at the house of twenty-four-year-old Abram Friesen of Camp twenty-four Shipyard. There, the officers found a semi-automatic assault-type rifle for which a license was issued in Belmopan and valid until the end of November. But police say a scope was affixed to the rifle, but Friesen did not have a license for it. As a result, he has been charged with Tampering with a Firearm without the Authorization of the Commissioner of Police.

  1. Mike G says:

Now that is ridiculous! How can putting a scope on a rifle be considered tapering? Total BS!
