Miss Universe Belize is Ready for the Competition

Miss Universe Belize Jenelli Fraser will depart Belize on Thursday. She leaves for Los Angeles where she will finalize her wardrobe and do her final preparations, including picking up her evening wear for the pageant. And then next week she leaves Los Angeles for Bangkok, Thailand for the pageant which will be held on December seventeenth. Fraser told reporters that she has been preparing for the pageant so she expects to do well.

“I leave for Thailand on the twenty-eight of November and I arrive on the thirtieth. In terms of my preparation, I think that it started from the minute that I won. When I left to go to the United States, I also received training. I met with some past Miss U.S.A.s who just boosted my confidence and encouraged me to be myself. I think that session alone was something that helped me in terms of my preparation. And then I had to work on my walking and I had to work on my healthy lifestyle. So, it has been something I have been doing since I won.”

“How do you feel going into the pageant – your prospects?”

“I feel pretty confident. I feel that my personality, when I walk into a room, that lights up an entire room and I feel that sets me apart from these women. I feel that I am very authentic, I speak my mind and I am very assertive. I am also very competitive so I definitely believe that I am gonna stand out.”
