Tutsi Walks off Drug Trafficking Charges
The sensational drug trafficking case involving embattled policeman Darrell “Tutsi” Usher fell apart in the lower court today, ending with an acquittal. In March 2017, the elder son of Gilroy Usher, P.U.P. Standard Bearer for Port Loyola, was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply after he was reportedly connected to a significant quantity of marijuana. Usher’s trial began in September of last year and from the onset a lot of questions were asked in respect of the integrity of the evidence. According to his colleagues at the Belize Police Department, they are certain that he was involved with the large consignment of cannabis, but in the courtroom of Magistrate Khadeen Palmer they were unable to corroborate their story with that of the four witnesses that were called to the stand. The incident occurred on the night of March tenth, 2017, in the vicinity of an area known as Dyke, off Faber’s Road Extension. There police found a camouflage bag containing over twenty pounds of weed. Usher was represented by attorney Anthony Sylvester.

And once again the PD & DPP cannot prove their cases due to their ineptitude and the bad guy walks away.
