2 Senior Citizens Caught with over 7 Pounds of Weed

Two men were jointly charged today and arraigned for drug related offenses after they were caught on February eleventh with over seven pounds of weed. Sixty-one-year-old Ralston McDonald and fifty-three-year-old Aston Richards were dragged to court and appeared before Magistrate Michelle Trapp for possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply. While there were no additional facts on the case to indicate where the drugs were allegedly found, it is known that Richards is an electrician, while McDonald is a stevedore from Gales Point Manatee. Both pleaded not guilty to the charge and were given bail of three thousand dollars each, plus one surety of the same amount. Both are due back in court on April sixteenth, 2019.
