“Most people say, like when I walk around, ‘oh that guy does boxing.’ But it is far different from boxing; it is more advanced than boxing. Boxing is just blows to the head. In MMA, you have kicks, knees. It is called mixed martial arts because it is a mixed of everything; taekwondo, judo, all the other martial arts together. It is really fun when you get into and it is classified as one of the safest sports. So, it is a mix of all the other sports combined into one.   I just came off a week water diet. I drink about two gallons of water for the day. I am not eating anything today, just to make weigh-in. I gave been doing it for a while. I go to the gym like four-thirty in the morning to work out and then in the night. I have school and so it is tough schedule. I have been doing it for about six to seven years, so I have a little skill in it. As to my opponent, I saw him fight once. I heard he has the same skill as I do. So, it is going to be a brawl. I am going to be home so a bigger weight is on my shoulder to bring home the championship belt. Everyone is saying you better win. I will do my best to win.”

The match starts at six p.m. on Saturday night at the Orange Walk Multipurpose Complex.
