Growing the Future Project Summer Camp A Success!
Today more than two hundred young students from across the country proudly received their certificates for having completed this year’s Growing the Future Project. It is an educational summer camp that has been growing over the past fifteen years. It nurtures the intellect of the students and better equips them with the skills to advance their education. Project Director Peter Lacey says that three weeks camp also offered the children to interact with each other through safe education field trips.

“We covered three aspects of the program. It is early childhood education which is from infant one to standard two. BJAT preparation for standard three and P.S.E. prep at grade level from standard four to standard six. So what our program does is to jump start the child for September. Apart of that we had sporting activities. We had field trip. This year we had two hundred and fifty students. That is why we have been opening up so we can get scholarship opportunities. The success of the program in our terms is to rate it at the first term of the upcoming school year. So what we do is ask parents to submit their report cards for third term and then we ask them to submit in December their first term report card so we can see the jump start into the school was indeed a success.”
