Alex Sanker Honors Kobe in Downtown LA
Well-known Belizean artist Alex Sanker is attracting media attention in the United States where he was featured earlier today on ABC 7’s Eyewitness News in downtown Los Angeles doing what he does best, painting lifelike portraits of famous Americans. Last year, in the wake of the untimely passing of Nipsey Hussle, he immediately took to his easel and committed a realistic portrayal of the slain rapper to canvas. This time, Sanker has flown to LA and has set up shop on Figueroa Street where he is diligently completing a series of portraits in honor of Lakers icon Kobe Bryant. While he doesn’t plan on selling any of the pieces, the free publicity is sure to go a long way for the popular Belizean talent.
