National Hand Washing Awareness Day is Declared
National Hand Washing Awareness Day will be commemorated on March twenty-fifth. In light of COVID-19, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the WASH Multisectoral Body, along with UNICEF, have designated the day as part of a concerted effort to put some preventative measures in place. Hand washing is the most important preventative measure to avoid catching the coronavirus, a respiratory illness that is transmitted from person to person.
