State of San Ignacio Hospital’s Flu Clinic “Discouraging”

Flu clinics have been set up across the country as part of the efforts to identify COVID-19 cases. In San Ignacio, the clinic was partially set up at the San Ignacio Hospital. But a video recorded by one a doctor shows the shocking state of the western flu clinic. In the video, the doctor describes the mess and state of abandonment of the clinic with medical equipment and meds left exposed to the elements. Director of Health Services, Doctor Marvin Manzanero is aware of the situation and says it is an internal matter which has been cleared up.

“I saw the video. It got sent to me. I asked for an investigation to be done. The report I got this morning is that the doctor who had been working there did make the video. It was an internal video tht somehow got leaked out. Whatever happened there in terms of that, I have been assured by the team that that has been taken care of and perhaps shouldn’t have happened but there is some miscommunication in that regard.”
