Preliminary Report: 30 New COVID-19 Cases
There are thirty preliminary confirmed cases of COVID-19 tonight. These initial numbers come from one hundred and eighty samples processed today. These results are going for secondary confirmation and that final number will be released later tonight. So again, the Ministry of Health is reporting a preliminary thirty new cases, but at this time, we don’t know where those numbers are from. These numbers do not include samples taken today. Epidemiologist, Doctor Russell Manzanero released the preliminary information during the Ask the Experts webcast.

“We did get some preliminary reports earlier; I will just share that with you. For today itself, there are one hundred and eighty samples being processed and of those, going for confirmation which means we are going to confirm by a secondary test as well, thirty. So, for today we have thirty more or less that will go for confirmation there. From where are they? We are not sure yet. I am just told that they are not only from San Pedro.”
