If You Are Travelling from Belize, Here’s Instructions for PCR Testing

If you are travelling from Belize, the following is information that you need to factor in your plans. The Office of the Director of Health Services says that there is no requirement in terms of PCR or any other test for SARS-CoV2. In respect of those persons leaving for essential reasons, including students and persons travelling for medical reasons and who are required to present a PCR test to the country they are travelling to, they must submit a request to the Office of the Director of Health Services. PCR tests are only taken when approval has been granted and is conducted once a week.  The Ministry of Health says that it is currently not able to offer routine PCR testing for those leaving for non-essential purposes.
