World Pharmacists Day – Transforming Global Health
September twenty-fifth is being recognised as World Pharmacists Day and is being celebrated under the theme, “Transforming Global Health.” Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing, the activities, including personal development training for pharmacists, are not being held. Instead, pharmacists are being awarded for their years of service and commitment to the profession.

“This time around, we can’t gather so we are awarding them for their years of service to this noble profession. We are providing them with a token of appreciation, showing them how much we appreciate their services, their attentiveness to the people and the country. And they strive for patient centred care and we appreciate the initiatives that are put in place by them on a daily basis, seen and unseen.”
