Pedro Espat, ministers’ father, dead at 77
Tonight we regret to announce the death of 77-year old Pedro Miguel Espat. Espat was the father of Mark Espat, Minister of Tourism and Jorge Espat, Minister of National Security. He is also survived by sons: Pedro Jr., Miguel, Jose, David, Carlos, Pablo and Phillip. He leaves behind one daughter, Mary, a sister Nazira and wife Marlita Balderamos Espat. Espat died early this morning after a prolonged illness. Funeral services will take place at the Holy Redeemer Cathedral at three pm on Friday May 26th. Pedro Miguel Espat, dead at 77.
