100 Cops are Off Duty Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
The coronavirus has reached a significant number of law men including the police, B.D.F. and Coastguard. Tonight, more than fifty police officers remain COVID-19 positive. According to Commissioner Chester Williams, there are other officers who are now in self-isolation because they may have been exposed. In total, there are about a hundred officers who are not on duty as a result of the virus.

“I think we are still above fifty. I need to get the correct, updated figure but we have a few who recovered and we have a few who went into quarantine because of the fact that they might have been exposed. So, we still remain at that threshold of right about a hundred officers who are inactive due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
