COVID-19 Cases Steadily Increasing in Orange Walk
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases for the country stands at three thousand two hundred and thirty-two; of those numbers, thirty-five percent alone have been identified in the Orange Walk District, which since the outbreak of the virus, has recorded one thousand one hundred and forty-eight. There are one thousand one hundred and thirty-six active cases of the virus; thirty-two tested positive on October twenty-seventh. Late this evening, News Five spoke with Doctor Marvin Manzanero who says that the Orange Walk District is recording about twenty to thirty new cases daily.

“We have had increasing numbers. The numbers have remained steady if you will. The numbers have not gone down, but there is a plateau in terms of the constant number of cases that are between twenty and thirty every day. That is what we are noticing and that’s been so for the last two weeks.”
